Horoscope Review: "Norah" with a New Face is Still a Fake

Bogus "Norah" Ages Forty Years In Six Weeks

Click on those little text ads saying "Scary Accurate Horoscope" or "Shocking Online Horoscope," and you may well be linked to premiumastrology.com. In 2010 its homepage featured a young brunette as "Norah," but as of Feb. 2011, the model who represents "Norah" has suddenly become AN OLD GRAY-HAIRED LADY. Don't be fooled. "Norah" is not an astrologer or psychic, nor even a person. She is a front for a large corporation advertising several bogus online psychics, including the notorious Gabriella. The new "Norah" is still offering a free "reading" which her site even admits is not real or accurate. Click on "Terms of Service" on the bottom of the homepage and you will find in the long 15-part legal disclaimer:

ALL READINGS ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY AND NO GUARANTEE CAN BE GIVEN AS TO ACCURACY.

THE EDITOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW YOU INTERPRET OR APPLY ASTROLOGICAL OR DIVINATORY INFORMATION AND ALL THE CONTENT PROVIDED. ALL READINGS ARE FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY AND NO GUARANTEE CAN BE GIVEN AS TO ACCURACY.

This disclaimer and other changes in the site were made in response to hundreds of online complaints about "Norah." Horoscope Review first outed her as a fake in August 2010.

Still believe Norah has the answers? If you're game, here's how to play: Enter your name, email, birthday, your "star sign" (correctly called your "Sun sign"), and choose a "wish" from a drop-down menu. You will soon receive an email from "Norah" that requires your confirmation. You have now "opted in" to receive her emails. Her long, long messages are entirely computerized, and everyone gets the same messages, with only a change of name and birth date.

The message may try to persuade you that "Norah" is not a slick business entity but a born psychic; gives you a computerized "mini-reading" that could apply to anyone ("Love plays an important role in your life"), and declares that good luck is coming your way, but you of course need to pay $79 for Norah's services to help you make the most of it. She'll also send you extras such as ebooks. But it's smarter not to give her any money in the first place, because there is no "Norah." There is only a corporation that knows how to extract money from anxious or ignorant people.

Real psychics don't need to advertise; word-of-mouth suffices. Some people use telephone psychics or online psychics as counselors or sounding boards. That's fine. I just want the world to know Premiumastrology.com does not deliver what people pay her for.

    1. Thank you thank you all of you - I just received a free mini reading from old Norah and it really upset me!! I felt compelled to go for a more in depth version, thankfully I googled and got all your information!! She said I had an evil spirit that had pursued me since childhood and that I also had an envious person arround me directing me the wrong way!!

She told me the exact same thing last week and I got really worried that someone was out to get me or something. I was so anxious to get an in depth reading but I am so glad I googled that liar first!

    3. I got the same exact reading, LOL

    4. I must be a fool to think that Norah existed. Just only last week, I was looking through a magazine and seen this psychic with the same picture of her only except her name was Rosemary... then I really started to think... Unbelievable... How do we get our money back, does anyone know?

    5. i used two different emails to get the complimentary reading with my real name and i recieved the same email with the same wording. same replies as is on here to other people. just change of name and numbers. glad i researched this. these people should not be allowed to scam people.

    6. I remember her as someone else back in the 70's.
almost the same 'spiel' but on paper, using snail mail postmarked from France.

Then in the early internet days she claimed to be not long for this world and offered to transfer her gift to me, for a price. She did drop from my radar with that name also from france, only to reappear as that younger woman you spoke of. Actually, 'Nora' is a relatively new incarnation of the same woman who's been making money as a bogus 'psychic' selling the same crap to all of the 'special' people who sent her their money, she's(if in fact she's a she at all) one of the reasons real psychics have such a hard time getting real help to those desperately needing it.

    8. Thank goodness I have the wisdom to check things out via google these days. Got exactly the same as all of you above on my free mini reading. I'm 'special'in a rare 'transit period' plagued by evil since childhood, missing out on luck, someone close sabotaging my luck, etc etc etc etc

    9. I just received my free reading and was also advised about the 77 days for the transit period and evil following me since birth and someone jealous currently in my life... etc etc etc.. you know the routine. I briefly thought about ordering the extended reading for the reduced price of $79... so glad I didn't fall for it.

    10. how funny, i felt that. I look at her picture and my intuition says that there is a man behind. And than I surch her name and ended up her on this page, telling me she was fake as i assumed. hehe thanks.

    11. I did pay like an idiot. the minimum. and checked google afterwards. I replied the e-mail asking her not to make any charge. I f anyone knows a way to make sure they won't charge me....

    12. Call your credit card company. When a charge is made it has to include a phone number. My credit card company took care of it in 1 call. I received an email confirmation within minutes. Hope this helped.

  3. Newsflash... ALL PSYCHICS ARE FRAUDS. Period.

They are bottom feeders that prey on the vulnerable, mentally ill and impressionable... always have and always will...

As long as there are fools out there willing to part with their hard-earned cash in exchange for "warm fuzzy feelings" in the form of a vague prophecy from some white haired, crystal rubbing mongrel - or someone purporting to be one, this sort of thing is bound to continue ad-infinutum.

Still I find it extraordinary that someone will willingly shell out $$ for something that has a disclaimer saying "READINGS FOR GUIDANCE/ENTERTAINMENT ONLY" and then complain when they realise that they've been ripped off... I guess there's one born every minute.

  4. I paid for the full reading after serveral e-mails that made me feel like I was going to screw my life up unless I had help and guidance from here. The e-mails and web pages promised to offer so many spesific information to me. Such as dates, times, spesific things to look for, act on, and do. She said that see would tell me things were going to happen, before they happened, and tell me what to do, so that I can have the most positive outcomes in my "transit" period. When I recived my full lengh reading, it didn't contain ANY of that information. It was just filled with personailty traits (which are based on basic astrology numbers that are calculated through your birthday and can be found for free ANYWHERE). And the only adive she gave were things that a parent would give you or that you already know. like: If your scared, don't let fear consume your life. And: That my negative forces are myslelf and that i needed to start doing more things. (Those arn't exact words, but in so many words, that was the kind of stuff she was saying. Then she proceeded to talk about "my true soul mate" and how he's still out there. She spoke about that briefly but it was no help. She didn't even mention anything about the 2 1/2 year relationship that I'm still in. It seemed like she didn't even know about it. So to make a long storey short, The reading was a cCOMPLETE fraud! Nothing that was promised before I purchased it, was even in it. I have tried to send e-mails and it's been a long time now and no response. I'm soooo upset because I have no job, so I couldn't afford to send her money. I only did because the e-mails she was sending before I purchased, were so convincing that she could help me. I have seen a REAL psychic in the past that was acruate about everything she told me would happen and knew things that she couldn't of possibly known. NORAH IS DEFFINATLY NOT WAS SHE SAYS SHE IS!! If anyone has any information on what can be done to get my money back, please let me know. Thank you =)

    1. Im not sure what country you are in but most western places have a "consumer affairs" advocate. I would say tho it would be a hard claim based on some of these people offer money back gaurantee, i dont think
Nora is one of these tho.
BTW i was told the same as you and did the "reading" as a bit of a social experiment, there was no mention of my fiance when i was told i would meet my "soul mate who would be associated with the colour blue", i had a good laugh with my partner when i told him about it lol. Thing to consider is this: how much time of your life/effort it would take to get your money back OR move on and forget about the loss.....Karma is a biatch and will thump a fraud worse than you could ever achieve etc... It sucks but their are sharks all over the world walking on land.......

To get your money back, contact the credit card company, the issuer of the card you used to pay premiumastrology.com. Tell them you did not receive the information that was promised, and that you emailed Norah and company and have received no reply. Most credit card companies will make sure your money is refunded. Good Luck

  9. Funny thing... Ive been trying to find all these fakes linked to the one site... there is Pasqualina, Tara, Gabriella, and Norah.

I clicked on the link on Facebook and Google. And I requested a free reading from Norah and got a reply from Tara which I already knew. So lame... This guy basically scares people into giving him money.... it is kind of sad that he wasnt smart enough to think up a propper way of making money coz the technology he uses is quite cool.

  10. Thanks for the warning! I have a friend who can predict things but I am the only one she told. I play games with her on the bus ride to school to test her, but she's very secretive about it and we always sit in the back. I knew her since I was born, and our closeness is the only thing that made her tell me. Therefore, I will not mention her name or my name. Anyway, I know she would never charge anyone for a prediction of any kind and she is the real deal. But people like "Norah" are just starving for money and they just want to scam you and steal your credit card number. In my free reading, "Norah" said something like, "Love is important in your life, and a partner is out there waiting." I'm 11. There is no dream 11 year old boy out there watching me and drooling over me. And she also said "It seems as though there is an invisible hand preventing you from earning your share of money." I have a pet sitting business. My income has SKYROCKETED over the last few months. All expenses paid, I have made a total of $1,500 for the summer. If I continue on this path, at 16 I should have a few thousand more than enough for a used car, depending on which one i get. Also, she said something like, "I looked at your thoughts and a vivid wave came hurdling towards me. I hesitated and tried again, preparing for what I had to unscramble." As soon as I got the email asking to "let loose my aura", I used the technique that my friend (the predicting one) taught me and blocked my thoughts to see what would happen. "Norah" is a complete and total fake. I wonder what would happen if I sent her an angry email....

  11. See the thing is ask your self this, after reading the information reading that Norah provided you and yes many of you received the same reading did you not feel that there was some hope back in your life? the point am trying to make is , if you all went forward with that feeling maybe just maybe your life would of changed but because you have read what others have said and to Sylvia Sky then you are the same as every one else a none believer and some one that just looks for the negative things in life. try going with how you feel in the first place and some one like Norahs words would of only created the mindset that you were after in the first place (think about it) am not saying its right that we all get the same reading and its made out that they will be different for every one but Its all about mindset and if her words were believable when you read them why not just go with it and your mind set and life may of changed. Your loses

  12. I too have had a mini reading apparentely through Norah. I have gotten the Grey Hair version of Norah as now currently advertised. It makes me think when she's told me to not tell anyone it will cost me $79.00 instead of $179.00 as though I should be this special seeming I am coming to my Transit Period. I was told not to say about this special price for the reason everyone else might get upset. But I'm upset to see someone else who to was being charged this special rate also of $79.00 I'm not the only one. Now my little ears have pricked up. I am getting cold feet after seeing those other comments I can realate to. They always have to try and make you paranoid by saying there is some bad news, but for now I will tell you the good news. I'm not going to fall for this it must have sounded all too good to be true and it is. Talk about trying to get your hopes up! Thankyou to all the other people who wrote into this comment box, I am going on your word. This is a FAKE WEBSITE Im not giving any credit card details a bit scary if they don't give you back your money like they say. Nor give you all that reading what was paid for thats terrible. My heart goes out to anyone that has a bad a bad experience Godbless you all and my preys are with you for having this bad experience. I to almost go caught myself.

  15. I am getting harrassed with all these emails from NORAH. Never had so many emails before from the same person. All are Fear based and an Urgency for me apparently to get back to her (shes so desperate) All I can see shes trying and trying and still trying with the same messages trying to put The FEAR OF GOD INTO ME. Because I havent paid for a reading yet. Just had the mini reading you see, I can't believe how many times shes been bacicly harrassing me to DEATH about having this reading and I don't want to have it now. It's extremely rude what she is doing. Had a mini reading off Jenna and she never harrassed me nor annoyed me. I didnt pay her either for a mini reading but at least she respects my space and never plays me like this FAKE company does with Norah in it. Norah will screw you over please becarefull. I REALLY HOPE YOU GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!! ITS FAULSE and MISLEADING ADVERTISMENT. I was going to get a reading because they wrote if your not Happy we will give you your money back. So unproffessional they don't do what they say. Yes it has been unpleasant experience for me too. They're Criminal to prey on us weak and vunerable like this. But they're more than happy to pressure us into our savings we just don't have. STOP PRESSURING EVERYONE SCAMMER. YOU didnt even read im not working right now amongst all other things anyway. Nothing you read was nailed on the head, after I read it the second time round and went over it again. Yes Norah sounds great at the time, really got me going too and feeling like there was hope of a better life right now. But.. later it won't feel good. I promise, after you read everything over again and again it doesnt look as good the first time. Rude preasurring me like this and trying to put the fear of God into me how dare you. Iéd rather a rubbish life than to have come in contact with you period. Keeping an eye on you, you've rubbed me up the wrong way what you are doing to all these people. I am not happy with you not paying these people back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pay them as you preach. LOW LIVES, just the lowest of all LOWEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. I had a free reading from Norah a few days ago. She did mention a specific date in my near future that was interesting. She said my life will change on this date for the better and that I would never have to look back again. Its funny because the date she gave coincides with the date that we are planning our new release. Coincidence? Perhaps. Probably... will see. However, the more I thought about Norah's reading the more I saw the hope that it is designed to instill. It talked about false leads in life and the riches that I was suppose to have but didn't and all because of missed opportunities. I figured if Norah were really a trickster, she would send me a follow up email message stating that my great future is in jeopardy, unless I contact her and spend money on a reading. I suspected that this would occur within two or three days after my initial "free" reading... it took three days, and the the email I received pleaded with me to pay her to help "guide" me through this transitional period or my wonderful future will be lost forever. They are definitely playing on the weak here. Well crafted emails, but when they start pleading, you they're crooks.

Not very convincing and certainly not work spending money on. I can get a better reading in person with a psychic that is referred to me via a friend.

  18. When times are hard and money is scarce people are desparate for love, money, security...no one can predict the future. Only God or your higher power (mine is God) knows. Our role is to have faith in that higher power and then no matter what happens...good or bad...all will be well because of having faith and hope.Remember when we believ3d in Santa as a child and no one could make us believe any different? We need to believe in God (HP) the same way. I am not a religious freak by any means and I do read my horoscope from time to time and at times it has seen SPOT ON...but other times not even close to what is happening. Ancient rulers and kings used to have sorcerers and seers who woulf use astrology to guide them. President Reagan even used one in the White House during his presidency. The key is to LIVE your LIFE right now, stay in ther moment because if you dwell in the past you get angry and if you are always thinking of what will happen (being in fear) then you miss today!

  23. I received a free reading that told me I was in a Transit period and good luck was in my immediate future...but I needed guidance to navigate the opportunities that were coming to me, otherwise I may miss my chance and end up in a dead end in the 'maze'. The cost of guidance would be $79.00. I don't believe in giving my credit card info out to just anyone (in case they are not legit), so I clicked on the link for no credit card. A page came up where most of the information was obscured by a dark background behind the black print. It offered PayPal. Again, I decided that I should google Norah to see if there were any derogatory remarks or reviews - and found this page. So, if everyone else is getting the same kind of reading (that aims to instill fear and insecurity in the client), then that's a sign that the reading is not a true one. Glad I didn't spend money on to get advice from 'Norah'. I also received follow up e-mails from Norah urging me to take advantage of her discounted price before it was too late.

You made an excellent decision asking me for help, and at the right time it seems, too.

You don't need a psychic to tell you that you are all dumb asses if you paid money for this. These people understand what KARMA IS, and those victium to this false world they created to trick people into handing over there money to such selfish deceitful beings that weither in this life or the next this bad deed of trickery and falsehood will come back and they will end up paying fate back in one way or another.

Universal Law is what the true believers and spiritualist live by.

I have been victium to a couple of online scams and also meeting with pretend psychics face to face who where only good at ready people.

I have met recently true groups of clairvoyants, mediums and psychics, true spiritual people.

If in doubt before u pay ask them to prove themselves to u first and the truly gifted will prove without questioning why u have asked them.

  34. Something told me that Norah was too good to be true.Ive been to more than 5 counselers in my lifetime that were to know help for my depression. When i saw the reading she had (which was the same as everybody elses). I suddenly felt special and excited about my new begginning of life. Not being to personal but this has really caused me to want to commit suicide.

  36. Greetings all,

Thanks for these postings, was curious so got my free mini reading from Norah and was also told I had an envious person around me and other revelations that ticked me off immediately, it was an obvious plant to instill fear, two things I cant abide - a liar and being threatened albeait subtle. Being in a place of uncertainty is a lonely place but it sure as hell has a lot of members. I guess its called humanity. Anyway when I am in need of something witty and inspiring to shake my tree , I am always drawn to a line from the vintage movie Mame - goes something like this "Lifes a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death" Ciao and blessings

  37. When you decide to give up on the things in life that doesn't please God and change your ways with His help, NOW THAT IS A REAL TRANSITION PERIOD!!!
God said, if my people will call out my name and humble themselves and pray, then i will hear them and shall heal their land.

Trust in god , He will never leave you nor forsake you.

  38. I'm so glad I checked up on Norah's supposed credibility! Thank you so much for the good advice. People like 'Norah' should be outed and banned on the internet. They can easily take advantage of some people in a very venerable state. It's actually quite amusing that she goes to such lengths to scam people. after declining her offer for the third time she brought down the price to nineteen dollars big drop there for an apparent renowned physic! thanks again and glad to see there's still good in people! lets hope karma pays a visit to Norah!

I was wanting to know what may love may hold for me and will I ever find it...ha, well so I went through it all not even thinking about fraud (blonde) and bang done. Well mine was the same as you all. I need to just start believing in me not someone else. Dam I thought I was a smart person...he he he!!!

  42. The only human being who can bring any true posativeness into your life is "you". Believe in yourself. Of course Nora is a fake, she is just a feel good factor. Look back to poor Princes Diana, she relied on other women to predict her future & yet not one of them told her of the danger that layed ahead & that her life would be a short one & poor rich Diana payed more than $79 for her sessions. Money deos not buy you "confidence" & lets face facts, all predictions play on other peoples lack of self confidence & self doubt about ourseselves. We all lack this at some stages in our existence it is part of being human. No stranger on the TV or Internet, phone etc. can change your life for money or no money. Only you Doing What You Believe in, can make your "Dreams Come True" & I hope at least one dream comes true for all of you.

    1. thats good to see and hear that you recognize this as well. People in difficult situation often belive everybody else but them selves. And that goes for me too. In hard times I really depend on good and "the right advice" from others to become strong again.I recomend self help books. because there are no such fake books out there. to help your self will gain your trust to find the answers u look for.And you will never need anybody elses "good advice" and u will stand tall in ur own sence of self.

  43. funny thing is that same thing rang true for me but i believe in God still i paid the discounted price due to insecurity and curiousity. i was just needing guidance and positivity i feel small these days and it gave me a boost i really dont plan on giving |norah" any more money especially since she sent me the eye of horus to wish on everyday to make my dreams come true. that was shocking stopped my heart almost. that was my first ever experience by a so called psychic n the last thank you all for making sites like these available. desperate times call 4 desperate measures atleast we learned from this one. GodSpeed All :)

  44. Well well.well it seems as if I too did fall for this scam. To put it short I kind of believed "her" but the stupid company didn't take my paypal smart connect acct so it ended up coming out of my.personal checking acct which I was not having because I figured it would be bogus so if I had to pay with my own $$ then I didn't want it. So I contacted the live support team that's available 24/7 online. Carole the only representative apparently processed my return request right then. Note I did this aftee I emailed her Norah a return email explaining why. So I began receiving emails and I told them I requested a refund and a few days later my money was returned which is good for them because if they didn't I was gone raise hell!!!! Hope this helps someone I know it reassured me.

  50. It really is a shame that there are people out in the world who willing take and scam hard working people out of there money and on top of that give psychics a bad name. At least one thing is for sure and that is one day they will get what is coming to them as karma always comes to those who do wrong. Best thing is to stay positive and to pray that more people read this website before purchasing anything.

  51. Norah's photo is a stock photo of a model, purchasable for $2 by anyone. It appears on about 30 different sites! Use TinEye to find the million and one uses for "Norah's" face.
